BIO S.I. Agricultural Formula
Bio S.I. Agricultural Formula is a liquid soil inoculant that contains a diverse range of naturally occurring beneficial microbes derived from the soil. These microbes play a crucial role in rebuilding soil health, converting organic matter into humus, and unlocking nutrients that are otherwise unavailable to plants. By working symbiotically with plants, these microbes exchange nutrients from plant exudates for their own survival. It is important to note that the health of the plant affects the exudates and, consequently, the survival of the microbes.
When incorporated into a fertilizer program, Bio S.I. Agricultural Formula enhances the efficiency of fertilizers and chemicals. Before the industrial development of nitrogen-fixing methods, plants relied solely on microbes to convert gaseous nitrogen into a usable form. While not crop-specific, Bio S.I. Agricultural Formula can be applied to any crop to improve root systems, reduce stress, and enhance nutrient and water utilization. It should not be used as a replacement for fertilizer, but rather as a supplement that helps release nutrients that are otherwise inaccessible to the plant.
To support the microbial community, it is beneficial to use compost as a food source for the soil microbes, in addition to applying Bio S.I. Agricultural Formula. When fungicides are necessary, it is advisable to reapply Bio S.I. Agricultural Formula afterward to restore the microbial population that may have been affected. By implementing this cost-effective approach, farmers can maximize crop production and achieve greater vigor in their plants.
