BIO S.I. FLOOR-MATE

Use the power of nature to safely and quickly improve conditions in areas where livestock is held. Bio S.I. Floor-Mate contains beneficial microbes (found in nature) to poultry houses, horse stalls, dairy barns, hog barns, and anywhere livestock is held.
Soil-derived microbes and metabolites naturally break down the proteins, salts, and other materials found in urine and fecal matter that cause musty, unpleasant odors such as ammonia.


By competitive exclusion, Floor-Mate reduces the pathogen load. Competitive exclusion is based upon the principal of limiting the available space for pathogenic bacteria to settle because the space is already taken up by beneficial bacteria. This results in less incidence of illness from Salmonella, E. Coli, etc. It is also attributed with the reduction of morbidity and mortality among other detrimental health factors in Poultry production systems.

One quart of Bio S.I. Floor-Mate will cover up to 1,000 square feet depending on application.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is the use rate?

    Bare Floor/Litter: Use 1-2 gallons per 25,000 sq. ft. If more applications are needed due to conditions in the house, use 1-2 quarts per 25,000 sq. ft., every two weeks, until conditions improve. Use one quart every other week to treat the area.

    Horse Stalls: Use 6-8 ounces per 1 gallon of water and spray the floor and up to two feet up the walls where urine may splash. Also spray corral around feed troughs and watering vessels to help break up manure and control odor.

    Hog Operations: Use 1-2 gallons in 5 gallons of water, to spray the entire floor twice per week, depending on odor. Wash down after application to move Floor-Mate into holding tanks under slats. After odor control is achieved, reduce application rate until you find the rate that will control odor and reduce solids.

    Dairy Operations: Use 1-2 gallons of Floor-Mate with wash down water once a week until odor is controlled. Mix with enough water to apply evenly over the floor, then reduce the application rate to a level that will maintain odor control and breakdown solids in lagoons.

  • Can I use this in the milking barn?

    Bio S.I. Floor Mate can be used anywhere animals are confined, but not recommended to use while milking is in progress.

  • Can a program be set up specifically for my arena facility?
